Congratulations to our Community Kickstart Grant recipient – LHCA – (LifeHouse Creative Arts)
We’re absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news! We’re pleased to announce that LHCA – (LifeHouse Creative Arts) has been chosen as the well-deserved recipient of the 2025 ISPT Community Kickstart Grant! They’ll be receiving a $10,000 grant to help them continue their incredibly important work right here in the community.
LifeHouse Creative Arts (LHCA), is passionately dedicated to providing an affordable, inclusive, and inspiring creative arts space in Coffs Harbour, fostering joy and confidence for all ages and abilities. They believe creative arts should be accessible to everyone, especially vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals.
The Community Kickstart Grant, we enable them to expand their subsidised disability classes, launch a new Auslan Signing Class, and grow GrooveHouse Beats, a drumming program for boys and young men with learning differences. The funding will also secure musical instruments, art supplies, and 10 Creative Arts Scholarships per school term, distributed in partnership with local schools. These initiatives will empower more people to experience the transformative power of the arts, building a stronger, more connected, and creatively vibrant community for everyone.
